As I mentioned in my last post, I have been looking for another pair of light-ish trousers that are suitable for me to wear to work as well as at the weekend for a more casual look and I've found them! The asos pairs were nice, although I found an even better pair in Gap which I had actually previously bought and returned (thank god I did as I ended up getting them for a tenner!) If that's not a bargain I dont know what is! The link is here:
http://www.gap.eu/browse/product.do?cid=57404&vid=1&pid=834198as I couldn't get the picture to upload. They are a 50/50 linen/cotton mix and are so light, with a lovely big bow at the front, making them smart, but very feminine at the same time. I wore them to work today teamed with a blank tank, gladiators and a pink statement necklace and I have to say they were so comfortable. I would happily wear them again tomorrow!
I also bought a pair of navy chino-type trousers from Hollister (above) which have a preppier feel and can be worn full length or of course my favourite way; rolled up. They are beautifully soft and smell gorgeous thanks to Hollister's perfume which had been spritzed all over them. I'm going to wear them with a lacey top or blouse and my gladiators or loafers and possibly my brogues. I now feel I have plenty of bottoms to wear to work and as an alternative to jeans at the weekend. Perfect. These two pairs really are trousers at their best.

If however, you're not really feeling any of the above and maybe have a little more cash to spalsh, then head over to net-a-porter.com where you can find many other, slightly more expensive options. This wide-legged, cropped YSL pair certainly caught my eye (above) , and I'm sure they would catch a few others' too! It's one way to rock the neon trend; but at £730 it's certainly not a cheap one.
YSL was not the only fashion house that stood out as if you are a leopard print lover then I think I may have found the pair for you! Roberto Cavalli has hit the leopard print nail on the head with these silk trousers and teamed with sky high heels and a tucked in top you can do no wrong. Priced at £620 they definitely weren't made for students, suppose we will have to let the Victoria Beckham's of the world have these ones.
