This week I love...

MULBERRY...It's not just this week that I love Mulberry, it's more like everyday! It's the one designer that I just cannot get enough of. The bags, the clothes, the accessories, what's not to love?! Mulberry recently celebrated it's 40th Anniversary and the beloved English Brand brought out a book to mark its 40 years in fashion. Filled with beautiful photographs of the bags themselves and famous faces known for wearing the brand, Mulberry has really marked this occassion in a special way. The book retails at £55 and can be bought in store or online at Mulberry or from good book retailers . A must for any fashionista's coffee table.

LOAFERS...I have been looking for the perfect pair of loafer/moccassins for ages and I just couldn't find what I was looking for until I spotted an Ugg Australia pair online. Well I tell you, I wasted no time in buying and when they arrived on thursday I literally couldn't wait to try them on and luckily they fitted perfectly. I have been prancing around my house like a right dingbat as I just do not want to take them off! You may have noticed a bit of a shoe blogging pattern and be thinking that I have a slight obsession. If you are, then you would not be wrong. I can assure you these will be remaining firmly on my feet until my next obsession!

LACE...Lace is big this season and I am LOVING it. I bought a lovely top from the Limited Collection at M&S (not to be underestimated) a while ago and it has been such a good buy. It goes with everything from skirts to chinos to jeans, money well spent I say!

ONLINE SHOPPING...I confess, I have been very bad these past few days as online shopping has managed to steer me astray once again! I've bought shoes and a new cardigan. BAD STUDENT. Although, I did get a large discount on the cardigan and it was a wardrobe staple after all. Ok, so I'm jus trying to make myself feel better, but i did NEED it!! I'm beginning to prefer shopping online as it doesn't really feel like you are actually spending money, mkaing it a much more guilt free experience than going to the shops!

This Week I am...

ENJOYING this beautiful weather! The sun has definitely had his hat in for the past few weeks and it's been really nice to be able to ditch my woolies and opt for something a little lighter, so it's been tees and camis all week. You never know maybe next week the shorts will have made their debut too. Just imagine them with those wedges. Boom.

DESPERATE for a pair of these beauties. As you may have gathered, for me shoes= weakness. I literally just cannot resist the temptation; it's too great to even contemplate denying. Especially with my newly painted nails they would suit beautifully. Unfortunately, Kurt Geiger have not made them cheap and at £200 I may have to wait until the sale, or even better a rich man to come and buy be them and then sweep me off my purpled heeled feet. Well, a girl can dream...

LOVING playing polo! Anyone who knows me, will know that I am horse mad and for the past two years at uni i've been playing polo. As the summer season has started, this week we started playing on grass again in preparation for our SUPA which for all you non-horsey people that's(the Schools and Universities Polo Association) tournament which is coming up in June! It will be our first time as a team competing, we've worked so hard improving our playing so fingers crossed we get there!!

WEARING the new crackle polish by Barry M. If you read my blog a few weeks ago about it then you will know that I had just bought it and it turns out the results were very good as I've received many compliments as to how good and effective it looks with some even thinking i'd been to a nail bar. Result.

The Royal Wedding

The day the world has been waiting for has been and gone as Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot at London's Westminster Abbey on Friday. The couple who have known each other since their first year at St Andrews University and have been together, minus a small break for 8 years finally became man and wife. Now to be known as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate looked as happy as ever before, during and after the ceremony.

Prince William fully suited and booted in his Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform left Clarence House with best man, Prince Harry who might I add was looking just as dashing. They were shortly followed by Kate's mother and brother, with The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall arriving shortly afterwards. The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh came arrived next and of course the bridesmaids and pageboys. Leaving only the bride herself accompanied by her father to arrive at the Abbey.

After weeks of speculation it was revealed; the desginer of THE most awaited dress of the year if not ten years was infact, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. With long lace sleeves, plunging neckine, full bodied skirt enbroided with british flowers and 2.7 metre train, the dress was perfect. Let alone the delicately embroidered veil and Cartier tiara lwhich was lent to Kate especially for the occasion by The Queen. Kate looked amazing, standing outside the Abbey graceful, poised and seeming as calm as ever. William was about to get knocked for six. Kate's sister Pippa, also looked elegant in her Sarah Burton dress, featuring a cowel neck and extremely elegant fit; complementing Kate's gown perfectly.

Inside the abbey, the 1,900 guests were waiting for the Wedding of the century to begin. With that large a guest list plus another few million watching on T.V. I would certainly not be joking around. However, Prince William was bringing out the banter as he joked to Kate's father , Michael that, "It was supposed to be a small family affair." Brave man. With the music finally playing and Prince Harry by his side, the ceremony had begun. Prince William kept facing forwards, yet in order to keep William up to date on the action, Harry turned round to see the Bride coming up the aisle. He clearly approved of the dress as with an approving grin, he seems to say to William, "Wait until you see the dress." Once at the alter, Kate and William exchange loving glances and he tells her, "You look beautiful."

Sounds perfect? You haven't seen anything yet. As after the ceremony the Royal Couple head back to Buckingham Palace in a horse drawn open top carriage, looking the picture if happiness. The balcony scene soon arrives and certainly does not dissapoint as we witness not just one, but two kisses from the newlyweds, sending the crowds into an almighty cheer. They retreat inside the Palace and it is not until later on that they return to Clarence House before the evening festivities in Prince William's father's convertible Aston Martin, with ballons, ribbons and numberplate reading, J5ST WED.

If you thought that Kate would return to the Palace for the evening celebrations in her wedding dress then you would be mistaken. It seems Sarah Burton has been a very busy lady as Kate wore a second dress designed by her. Similar in colour to the wedding dress, but with a strapless bodice, diamate waist and full body skirt; covering her shoulders with a cream bolero cardigan. Kate again looked simply divine.

Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding was without a shadow of a doubt the wedding of the century. The whole day was faultless and with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge one day becoming King and Queen of our country, I can happily say that I am definitely proud to be British.
